YOUNG APOLLO: Music of Benjamin Britten (chamber & string orchestra works)
The SEASON FINALE and conclusion of Jacaranda's Britten Forward! celebration spans the entire creative career of Britten from the early piano music to his last major work - the poignant Third Quartet. The Suite comes from a time when Britten wanted to show off all that he could do. It is a brilliant tour de force. The achingly beautiful Serenade is sure to be on anyone's desert island list of Britten works, while the magical Young Apollo is his least known orchestral piece.

Please consider making a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTION with your order.
