The Forte Award annually honors two outstanding champions of new and modern music. This After Party
This party celebrates champions of new and modern music. The fifth annual Forte Award After Party honors the innovative and internationally renowned opera, theater and festival director Peter Sellars, as well as Judith Rosen, author, advocate for women composers, and founder of the Friends of the Arnold Schoenberg Institute. Video art pioneer Bill Viola will present the Forte to Peter, and members of the Schoenberg family will present it to Judith. The evening will include astonishing musical surprises with champagne, desserts and savories.
Located at Knoll Showroom, just steps away from First Presbyterian, the party will follow the opening night concert at approximately 9:30 pm. Tickets to the concert are sold separately. Casual business or concert-going attire is appropriate.
